General editor Dilza Teresinha Ambrós Ribeiro is a physician, pediatrician, specialist in Hospital Administration and PhD in Bioethics from the School of Medicine of the University of Porto. Working at the Regional Hospital of Juruá, in Cruzeiro do Sul. She is a full member of the Regional Council of Medicine of Acre. In the Federal Council of Medicine, she held the position of Secretary-General (2019–2024) and coordinated the Committee for Integration of Border Physicians. She was also a member of the Permanent Committees for Supporting the Coordination of the Doctoral Program in Bioethics and for Assessing New Procedures; as well as of the Technical Chambers of Pediatrics, Humanities, Bioethics, Document Management, Transparency of the CFM and Medical Cooperativism. She currently holds the position of 3rd Secretary of the CFM and Director of the Library Sector and Bioethics Journal (Revista Bioética) of the institution, Acre/AC, Brazil.
